Can I pair these with one of JBL's subwoofers? If so how would I do it and would I need to buy an amplifier or are they powered? Thank you

Asked by: Jack Slote
Yes, you can pair it; you would need an amplifier or a receiver to hook this speaker and a JBL subwoofer into so they can connect under one system.

Is this speaker wall mountable?

Asked by: Lihui
Our JBL Stage A120 cannot be wall-mounted. If you're looking for mounted speakers, we do not offer these in our home audio products. But we have our in-wall speaker available. Check out our page from more. https://www.jbl.com/loudspeakers/.

Is it ok if I use a receiver with a 140w rms with these speakers?

Asked by: Jesus999999
Our JBL Stage A120 can handle powers from 20W - 125W at 6 ohms. Using a 140W rms receiver may still work but we advice against pushing it up the hilt so it can still function longer.

What would happen if I use a receiver that is 10 watts more than the recommended amount for the speaker? Would it harm the speaker?

Asked by: Alex55
It wouldn't harm the speaker as long as you don't push the receiver's volume up the hilt. If you need more help, please contact us here: https://bit.ly/2zwFkYM

I see they are running at 6 OHMs. Will a receiver running at 4 OHMs be okay for these? Tks

Asked by: mmi29
Thanks for your time in asking. A 6-ohm speaker on a 4-ohm output is safe but will result in slightly lower output. Let's say your amplifier puts out 100w at 4 ohms, expect it to output 75w at 6 ohms. This would be a reduction of 1.5 dB which you would is inaudible. It's best to use the same amount of impedance as with your receiver.

Are these much louder than the JBL Bar All-In-One?

Asked by: Jormungundr
Our JBL Bar All-in-One has Total speaker power output (Max. @THD 1%): 80W. JBL Stage A120 is louder, it requires an amplifier for it to function. The recommended Amplifier Power 20 – 125W.
