How do you skip the next song?

Asked by: imxy
Thanks for your time in reaching us. You can skip songs manually by holding down the + (Next) and - (Previous) buttons for 2 seconds on the right ear cup. But once you have successfully set up the earphone on Google Assistant app, you may tap the JBL Logo on the left ear cup and say "Hey Google, play the next song."

Do the headphones go into standby or turn off automatically if they are not used for a short while? Bought them for someone and the person tells me they have to be turned on again when she hasn't used them for a 10 minutes.

Asked by: zoombie zoom
Our JBL Live 650BTNC has a power saving mode feature that turns off the unit when no signal is detected for 5-10 minutes. She will need to have something playing on the headphones to keep them on as this feature cannot be disabled.

Hi - I seem to have misplaced the AUX cable that came with my headphones - I bought what I thought was a standard AUX cable but it doesn't fit the socket on the headphone - is there a specific size AUX cable I need - seems odd it would be non-standard

Asked by: Jayuu
Thank you for your question. A compatible cable for the Live 650 BTNC would be a 2.5 mm 3-pole jack to 3.5 mm 4-pole jack with Microphone and Remote, or 2.5 mm 3-pole jack to 3.5 mm 3-pole jack without Microphone and Remote. Is the microphone noise cancelling, very important the person who hears me hears only my voice and not the spoon against my cereal bowl while I eat...

Asked by: Cristi_araya
Our JBL Live 650BTNC is indeed a Bluetooth with Noise Cancelling headphones which cancels out external ambient noise. In this case it would depend on how loud the sound of the spoon is for it to not be heard while you're on the phone.

The frequency range is specified as 20 Hz - 20 KHz, but it´s a useless information without limits. Is it within 1 dB, 3 dB, 10 dB or a gazillion dB? I´m dissapointed that what used to be a serious audio company like JBL treats audio specs this bad.

Asked by: ex JBL fan
Thank you for your question. That decibels are not mentioned is quite normal for consumer headphones and other brands do the same for their headphones. The frequency does not indicate, as you pointed out, what using the product will be like. Though we should add the decibels on the product, the experience is subjective and different to each customer and will not necessarily give an accurate image for the user. Should you wish to receive support regarding one of our products, you may contact the Harman Customer Support team by telephone, email or chat in order to receive direct assistance. You could only rename a Bluetooth device within the Bluetooth menu of the phone once it's paired and connected. You may try these steps for your iOS device: -Make sure that your Bluetooth accessory is powered on and wirelessly connected. -Open the Settings app, then tap Bluetooth. -Tap the letter i - icon next to the Bluetooth accessory that you want to rename, then tap Name. -Enter a new name, tap Done on the keyboard, then tap the left arrowhead. The custom name that you give your accessory now appears in the Bluetooth settings on your iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch. Note: Some Bluetooth accessories can't be renamed.
