​​​​​​​Dear Tim, Thank you for your question. I'm sorry to hear that the Active Noise Cancellation on your JBL JR 460NC does not seem to be working. Please ensure that you've tested this in a reasonably loud environment, as if you have only tested them in quiet areas, the ANC will have nothing to cancel out and therefore will sound exactly the same. To try and resolve this, factory reset the headpohones by holding down the Power and Play/Pause buttons simultaneously for 5 seconds. Re-pair to your device, and test the ANC again.
