This is high quality soundbar.nice size to fit your TV size.adaptors to mount to wall is a nice bonus.the sound for it's size is awesome.wouldnt have expected so much bass for this type of sound bar.more than be enough for my living room in condo.hooking up TV easy even though you have to have television with HDMI or digital outputs.make sure your TV has them.the sound is very good and lifelike.great treble as always and good voice reproduction.its comes with a calibration function that I have only seen on a couple of good home amplifier receivers.it reads your room and adjusts the sound perfectly.easy to use and set up.thumbs up

Super JBL Bar 300
We enthusiastically awaited the JBL Bar 300 at home, the delivery was quick and without problems. Unpacked, the assembly went quite quickly and the installation on our television worked without any problems. The setup via app or via HDMI cable was both quick and easy. The sound, whether it's TV, music, games console or film, is impeccable and we like it much better than our TV (we have a fairly new QLED TV at home). The design is simple but elegance which is timeless. We have no regrets about choosing the JBL Bar 300 and would recommend it.

Sounds wonderful and easy to use.
I really like how I can turn on and control the sound bar 300 through my phone. I have not had any connectivity issues. Music sounds great from my living room through the kitchen. The highs and mids are clear. The bass is there if you need some. Where I live currently I want some bass but not too much so I keep it at 2 or 3 out of 5. When watching a movie, the 3D sound is great if turned up enough. Connecting to the TV and DVD player was pretty easy with the quickstart guide. I haven't had any voice lag between the TV and the soundbar. But I noticed there is a setting to adjust it if needed.

Pleasantly Impressed!
I had not yet used a soundbar as a stand-alone system so was a little skeptical of getting the promised results. The Bar 300 set up did not disappoint! It more then delivered the sound features I was expecting, including a clean low end bass. This was accomplished despite the absence of a dedicated subwoofer. Most of my apprehension centered around the desire for good "separation" involving the right and left channels. I didn't envision this being possible given the length of the soundbar. I was dramatically wrong, and was beyond pleased with the superior sound delivered by this excellent product. Simply a must buy for anyone who wants simplicity in audio delivered in a compact and attractive package.

Nice soundbar with good bass - even without a sub!
After I had a soundbar with a subwoofer, I really liked the idea of a soundbar without a subwoofer, or better, a subwoofer inside of the soundbar. I was really surprised how good this works.
The connection not only via Bluetooth was an important feature for me to. With this soundbar it is now possible, that everyone that is inside my wlan can play music out of the most important apps. This works really fine. The soundbar supports Dolby atmos and I was really surprised how good this sounds - without speakers behind you. The installation process is fine and works with an automation.

In the Bluetooth source, press and hold on the soundbar or on the remote control until “BT PAIRING” is displayed. → The soundbar enters the Bluetooth pairing mode.

Is the bar able to connect with other speakers (with connect+ or partyboost) and if so, which?

The JBL Bar 300 does not support Connect+ or JBL PartyBoost.
However, you can connect the JBL Bar 300 to other smart speakers in Google Home by creating speaker groups. Please note that this will only work for music playback and not for TV audio.

Does this soundbar have a dialog enhancement feature that one can control? Thanks!
Our JBL Bar 300 has PureVoice dialogue enhancement technology allowing you to enhance vocal clarity and easily hear the speech. The PureVoice feature is enabled by default if you play movies from the TV/HDMI IN source. You may enable/disable this feature on your remote control if you press and hold the mute button for more than 5 seconds, then press the bass button.

Does the soundbar have a night mode?

The JBL Bar 300 does not have a night mode. However, If the soundbar is inactive for more than 10 minutes, it will switch to standby mode automatically. “STDBY” is displayed. Next time you switch on the soundbar, it returns to the last selected source.

Could you tell me exactly what is the difference between JBL Bar 300 and JBL Bar 5.0? I can't find any good article, and I am wondering if I should spend a little bit more on 300 or buy the 5.0.

The main difference between the JBL Bar 300 and the JBL Bar 5.0 is that the JBL Bar 300 has 4x (46x90)mm racetrack drivers, 2x 0.75" (20mm) tweeters which give this sound bar a more powerful sound output.
